“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, "Wow! What a Ride!” - Hunter S. Thompson
Just a little about myself.... I grew up on a ranch in the beautiful Big Sky country in Western Montana. Upon graduating from the University of Montana with a degree in English and business, I taught high school English. I then taught 8th grade English in Southern California for six years. After moving to Texas, I received my Masters from Texas Woman's University. I have lived here for several years but go home regularly to enjoy my family, friends, and many outdoor adventures! You should go for a visit if you have not been there already! Western Montana is by far the prettiest part of the state. My children are the greatest joys in my life (and teaching, of course) I have 3 boys and 1 girl. I am a Marauder at heart (sorry), and I follow the Minnesota Vikings and Texas Rangers (to name a few). I had the good-fortune of being a part of Shadow Ridge when it opened and wouldn't want to be anywhere else! It's been quite a positive and rewarding journey!
